Valentine's Day "Count It" Freebie and some new things....

This is an AWESOME 73 Page Kit!!!  I'm so excited to share it with all of my followers on 2/14!

I put together another "Count It" activity, this time for Valentine's Day.  Students will count each picture and then record their answers on the chart below.  I tell my students that for a BONUS activity, to also count ALL of the shapes on the page and write that at the top of the page.  This download contains the Count It printable and it also contains a color-coded answer key to help identify how many of each picture there are.  You could put this up under the document camera or display from your computer when everyone is done and count the pictures together to check the answers.

Valentine's Day Freebies, New Stuff, Follower Freebies....

 I LOVE this!  These "Information Folders" include student resources for Reading, Writing, and Math.  There are several cover pages to choose from.  Just print and adhere to a folded piece of 12x18 construction paper and laminate.  These are great for student desks or tables, centers, etc....   You can make them individually for students to keep or use them year after year (like me).

November Follower Freebie is going out today!!!!

If you follow my store at Teachers Pay Teachers, I have just sent the November Follower Freebie to your Teachers Pay Teachers inbox!!!  Here is what you will get (for FREE) this month:

This is a set of School-Themed Papers that you can use for anything....Binder covers, signs for your classroom, notes or stationery...anything you might need a cute paper for :)

This download will be in a zipped file because I have included both PDF and PowerPoint files in this download.  The PDF files can be printed out as is - in other words you can just print the papers and hand write on them (unless you have a really expensive version of Adobe, then you can add a text box and type on the papers prior to printing, but most people don't have that software).  I've also added a file with the same papers in PowerPoint.  You will need PowerPoint to open this file.  With PowerPoint, which most people have, you CAN add a text box, type whatever you want on the paper and then print or save it.  I would probably use the PowerPoint files the most, but I wanted you to have some options.

Now, since this is a zipped file, you will click on the link that I sent to your Teachers Pay Teachers inbox and that will take you to Google Drive to download this.  You will not be able to open the zipped file directly in Google Drive so you will need to click on the black arrow at the very top of the page to download this to your computer.  I have a picture of what this looks like.  The red arrow is pointing to it:

CVC Initial, Medial, and Final Sound Clip Cards and a Sneak Peek at the November Follower Freebie!

I've added another new product to my Teachers Pay Teachers store:  CVC Clip Cards!  Great for small group/Guided Reading, RTI/Interventions, and Independent Centers!

Use Clothes Pins to "clip" the correct sound on the Clip Cards. There are 48 cards in all: 16 Initial (First) Sound Cards, 16 Medial (Middle) Sound Cards, and 16 Final (Last) Sound Cards. Student-friendly directions, answer keys and follow-up worksheets are also included for all sounds!  Every year I have had a few students that struggle with those middle vowel sounds!!!!  This will be great for interventions and independent work for all students and especially the kids that need extra practice!

It's a math packet that includes numbers 0-10 (with 6 cards per number).  It has number cards, number word cards, counting cards, ten frame cards, tally mark cards and addition cards. 

It's great for K-2 since you can use all of the cards or just the cards appropriate for your grade level or student needs.

For example, Kindergarten could just use the number and counting cards at the beginning of the year and add ten frames later or even some addition or word cards for higher students.

First Grade could use all of the cards or start with some sets and add more as concepts are introduced.

Second Grade could use all of the cards together at the beginning and throughout the year.

For those of you that are following my store, here is how to download your free kit.  You will be getting a message from me in your Teachers Pay Teachers Inbox.  When you are logged in, click on "My TPT" at the top of the page and your inbox will be in the drop down box that appears.

The link will take you to Google Docs.  You can only access this file with the link I sent.  Please don't share this link, but you can refer people to follow my store to get future downloads.

The link will go to a preview of the kit, but it is best to download the kit to your computer and print it from there to get the best quality.  The red arrow shows where the download button is at the top of the page.  It is a picture of a white arrow with a line under it.  Click on this button in Google Docs to download your kit!
