End of Year Teacher Gifts and Graduation Gifts!

Sunday, April 24, 2016 No comments

I've got a few new Planner Cover Sets up in my Etsy shop that are PERFECT for end of year Teacher and Graduation Gifts!  I am "planning" to get a few Happy Planners for graduation gifts and they are PERFECT gifts - they start in July and continue for 18 months, which is not only great for Teachers to get through the summer and following school year, but also new graduates, whether they are going off to college or off to work.  Click on the picture above or click here to see them (plus MANY more designs).  OR, instead of a planner, all of the designs can be made into personalized notebooks or printable planner covers!

Most designs in my shop can be made into planner covers, notebooks or printable binder covers.

A Little Christmas Gift From Me to You :) Hand "SANTA-tizer" Bottle Wraps

Thursday, December 4, 2014 No comments
I've gotten my Christmas Tree, been shopping til I drop, and I'm getting into the holiday spirit!           I have a fun little printable that I wanted to share, a little Christmas gift from me to you :)
I bought 10 oz bottles of hand sanitizer from the dollar store for this project.  I have included pages in this download for you to print and make one bottle (one wrap and one tag on a page), several bottles (multiple wraps and tags per page) and a page that has the wrap in blackline only, I thought this might be a fun option to include so that a child could color the wrap (instead of printing in color).

This is a great (inexpensive) gift idea for parents, colleagues, friends, etc....  I like to give little gifts from my class to important people at school (administrators, support staff, school nurse, custodians, other teachers, etc..).   My students LOVE it when we go to hand out our gifts to their recipients!!!  This could also be a fun gift for students to take home as a gift to their parents.

This is SO easy to make!  Just print it, cut it out, and wrap it around the bottle.  I secured the back with a piece of tape.  Then just add the tag with a piece of string or yarn.  You can add a message (To & From) on the back of the tag.

Easy Peasy!

Just click on any of the pictures to go to my Teachers Pay Teachers store and download this freebie.

Merry Christmas!

Teacher Subway Art - Great For Gifts or For Your OWN Classroom!

Sunday, October 12, 2014 No comments
I've just added a new item to my Teachers Pay Teachers store - This is something a little different!  This is an editable print to make your own Teacher Subway Art!  All you do is type over the existing teacher name and school name to the name and school name of your choice and PRINT!  VERY EASY!  The fonts are embedded into the PowerPoint file (Yes, you'll need PowerPoint to open it) so the fonts will stay the same as shown when you type over it.  Here's the copy I printed and framed:

This is made to fit into an 8x10 frame (cutting marks will show you where to cut this to fit into the frame).  Just print and frame and you have an easy, inexpensive - but GREAT personalized gift for your favorite teacher or for your own classroom!

Here's a closer look at the download - you will just type over the teacher name and school name to the names of your choice:

I've purchased some frames from the dollar store in the past that would go great with this.  This is a GREAT gift idea - especially if you have multiple teacher gifts to get!  All you need is one download (it's only $3.00) and you can use that one download to print as many teacher gifts as you need. Pair that with inexpensive dollar store frames and you definitely won't break the bank!!!

One thing to mention, if you have a Mac, embedded fonts won't work with PowerPoint for Mac so you'd have to use a PC to edit this and then you could save it and print it from your Mac, if needed.

Back to School Gifts for Teacher Friends

Today was our first day back (for teachers - students come back next Monday).  I made a little "Back To School" gift for the teachers on my team. Found these cute bags with matching notepads/pens and daily reminders/things to do pad at Michaels.  I used my Silhouette to spruce the bags up a bit with a monogram.  Wish I could give them all much more - they mean the world to me!

I also put up my Scientific Method Posters.  I made a ribbon banner (?) - ribbon sign (?)....not sure what to call it!  Here's a photo:

I have this kit up on TPT for only ONE DOLLAR and it includes the smaller posters - 1/2 sheet (like I used to make this) and the full size - whole sheet posters.  It also includes activities!

My class is coming together!  I'll post some photos soon :)

End of Year Teacher Gifts

The countdown is on!  7 days left for us!!!  I went to the mall yesterday looking for teacher gifts and found a few fun things.  I looked around without much success, because I didn't have anything in mind, so I headed to the old standby....Bath & Body Works.  Here are a few things I put together (more info below):

I needed some small gifts for helpers that have come into my room this year to work with some of the kids and found these cute clip-on air fresheners:
They had the birds in blue too.  I got several of each color and packed them up with a card that said:  Thank you for being so "tweet"!

I also saw these and thought they would be cute with a card saying "Your one in a "mellon".

Or this... with a card saying "I couldn't have "picked" a better teacher (or friend, or co-worker, etc...)

Or this one, with something like "Have a great summer!".

After that I got apple antibacterial soap for my daughter's teachers.  Her school is very heavy in Fine Arts and for electives she takes drama, chorale, dance, art, Life Skills, Structures (building structures), French, Kinder Coach (they work with the Kindergarten classes), Library and honestly, I am probably forgetting something.  This is in addition to her regular courses!  Anyway, the point being, she has a LOT of teachers and I do not have a lot of money so this worked out for all of those "extra" teacher gifts.  I had a coupon for $10 off and got 10 bottles of apple soap for $25.00.  Bath & Body Works had cello bags that they gave me to put the soap in and I went to Michaels to get ribbon to tie the bags up.  I printed some clear labels that said "Thanks for being a great teacher!" with an apple on them and stuck those to the bottom of the bag.  (You can see one of the finished bags in the photo at the beginning of this post.)

I also stopped at Michaels and got some stationery sets for some of her other teachers.  They had matching notebooks, notepads, pens and sticky note sets plus bags that matched:

I am still thinking of gifts for the girls on my team....any ideas????
