One of my sweet little boys brought this book up to me today from my class library and said "Mrs. Gilchrist, where's the schema?" Maybe it's just reading teacher humor...but it cracked me up!
It is fun to hear students use those big words in the correct way! We had a Weekly Reader about sharks that I used in a small group for guided reading. When we got done one of the boys said, "Mrs. Parce, I have all kinds of schema about sharks now!" Gotta love em! Liz in South Dakota
